Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer who was born in London United Kingdom on August 22nd, 1995. Dua Lipa signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after she was a model and released her self-titled debut album in 2017. It reached the top 3 spot in the U.K. Charts and released eight singles. They included Be the one I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. #1 single New Rules. Lipa has won Brit Awards 2018 for category of British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act and British. Furthermore, the platinum album has been praised in multiple countries. Dua Lipa is Bosnian heritage through her maternal grandmother. It is possible to trace her family's roots back to Peja, a city in Kosovo. Lipa's grandparents were both historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and an older brother called Gjin. Lipa began to learn how guitar playing and sing from her dad Oda. Oda is the singer/guitarist who leads Kosovan's rock group Oda. At home her father continued to perform music, including original compositions as well as songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa was only five when she started singing. When she was in her 9th year, she started singing at Sylvia Young Theater School.
